By using PDF Toolkit you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

A free online tool that converts and edits PDF, Word and image files. No registration, no installation, no watermark on the output.

Current limits: 50 MB per file, 20 files per request, two conversions running at the same time, and a check that pauses work when free disk space runs low. Limits may change without notice.

• Converting is done on our server and the result is offered as a download.
• We may add, change or remove individual tools at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not upload material you have no right to process, or material that is illegal where you live.

Do not try to overload, probe or bypass the service, and do not attempt to reach files that are not yours.

We may throttle or block traffic that threatens availability for other users.

Your content

You keep every right to your documents. You grant us only the temporary technical permission needed to process a file and hand the result back, and nothing more.

We claim no licence over your content. We do not open files for any purpose other than performing the operation you asked for.

Accuracy of results

Conversions are best-effort. OCR, scanned pages, handwriting, complex tables, vertical CJK text and unusual fonts can lose structure or characters.

Always keep your original and check the output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial or official documents.

Retention

Results are deleted within 24 hours, or immediately if you press delete. The service is not storage: do not keep your only copy here.

Availability

The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may be changed, limited or discontinued at any time, and no uptime is guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

The service is free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profit or business interruption arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
